About Hub of Luck

Hub of Luck is an independent guide to online casinos, sports betting, poker, lottery and sweepstakes in the UK, Canada and the United States. We are not a gambling operator: you cannot place a bet here. We check who is licensed where you live, explain how the games and bonus terms really work, and say plainly when a site or a law puts your money at risk.

Who runs Hub of Luck

Hub of Luck is owned and run by Pragmatixy. The people who write, check and sign off our pages are listed on our team page, each with their experience and any conflict of interest.

How we check what we publish

  • Licences from the register. Every licence we show is checked on the regulator's own register (the Malta Gaming Authority, the UK Gambling Commission, iGaming Ontario, the Curaçao Gaming Authority, state regulators). If we could not confirm one, the page says so.
  • Real-money tests before any score. A brand gets a score only after a named member of our team has signed up, deposited and withdrawn with real money. Until then, its page is a desk review and says "Not yet rated". How we rate.
  • Players' reports are labelled. What players report on public review sites and forums is shown as their experience, with links, never as ours.
  • Sources on every page. Laws, licence numbers, bonus terms and statistics link to where we found them, with the date we checked. Our editorial policy explains how we correct mistakes.
  • AI-assisted, human-checked. We use AI tools for research and drafting. A named editor checks and signs off every page before it is published, and our reviews say how they were made.

How we make money

Some operators pay us a commission when a reader signs up through our links. That never changes a score, and we only link to an operator where it is licensed for your location. How we make money sets out the details.

Where we list sites

We follow the law where you are. In Ontario we never show bonus offers. In Canada outside Ontario and Alberta, where no province licenses private casinos, we list sites licensed in Malta or Curaçao and label every one. Where a product is not legal, we publish information and support, never a list of sites.

Safer gambling

Gambling is paid entertainment, not a way to make money. If it stops being fun, our safer gambling page lists free, confidential help in each country. If an operator will not pay you, see where to complain.
