Online gambling in Michigan: what is legal
Michigan regulates the full range of online gambling. Online casino games and sports betting have been live since 22 January 2021 for adults aged 21 and over, and regulated online poker is available, including multi-state player pools since Michigan joined the interstate compact in 2022. The Michigan Lottery sells tickets online to those aged 18 and over. Sweepstakes casinos are not banned by statute, but the regulator treats them as illegal gambling.
