Online gambling in Pennsylvania: what is legal
Pennsylvania has one of the broadest regulated online markets in the US. Online sports betting began in May 2019, online casinos in July 2019 and online poker later that year, all overseen by the Gaming Control Board for players aged 21 and over. The state lottery has sold games online since May 2018 to players aged 18 and over. Sweepstakes casinos are not licensed; the Board treats them as illegal, though no specific ban has passed.
