Online gambling in Rhode Island: what is legal
Rhode Island runs its regulated gambling through the state lottery. Online sports betting has been available on a single state platform since September 2019 for players aged 18 and over. Online casino games, including live-dealer tables, launched in March 2024 for those aged 21 and over. The lottery sells games online. Online poker is technically allowed but has not launched, and sweepstakes casinos are neither banned nor licensed.
