Online gambling in Indiana: what is legal
Indiana has licensed online and retail sports betting since 2019 for players aged 21 and over. Online casino games and online poker are not legal, and 2026 proposals to change that did not pass. The Hoosier Lottery does not sell online, and a 2025 law (HEA 1053) made running a lottery courier service a misdemeanour. HB 1052 bans dual-currency sweepstakes casinos from 1 July 2026, with civil fines of up to $100,000.
