New York has licensed mobile sports wagering since 8 January 2022 for players aged 21 and over, regulated by the State Gaming Commission. Online casino games and online poker are not legal; bills filed in 2026 did not pass. Lottery tickets can be bought online through couriers licensed by the Commission, for players aged 18 and over. Since 5 December 2025, S5935-A has banned dual-currency sweepstakes casinos.
