Online gambling in Arizona: what is legal
Arizona has licensed online sports betting since 9 September 2021, open to adults aged 21 and over and overseen by the Department of Gaming. Online casino games and online poker are not legal. The Arizona Lottery sells only through retailers; courier apps operate without a state licence after the Lottery abandoned courier rules in October 2025. No statute bans sweepstakes casinos, but the Department of Gaming has treated them as illegal since 2025.
