Online gambling in Louisiana: what is legal
Louisiana licenses online sports betting, which has been live since January 2022 for adults aged 21 and over in 55 of its 64 parishes. Real-money online casino games and online poker are not legal, and the state lottery does not sell tickets online after 2026 iLottery bills stalled. Online sweepstakes casinos using dual-currency models have been illegal since 1 August 2026 under HB 883 (Act 182).
