Online gambling in Kentucky: what is legal

Kentucky has licensed online sports betting since 28 September 2023. HB 904, enacted over the governor's veto, raised the minimum age from 18 to 21 from 15 July 2026. The Kentucky Lottery has sold games online since 2016 to players aged 18 and over. Online casino games and online poker are not legal. In June 2026 the Attorney General sued a major sweepstakes casino operator, alleging illegal gambling.
