Online gambling in Vermont: what is legal
Vermont legalised mobile sports betting in 2023 and it went live on 11 January 2024, run under contract with the Department of Liquor and Lottery for players aged 21 and over. Online casino games and online poker are not legal, and a 2026 casino bill died in committee. The state lottery sells tickets only through retailers; a 2026 bill to allow online sales did not pass. There is no state law on sweepstakes casinos.
